Eastern Spotted Skunk Preorder Special

An adorable weasel shaped critter native to Kansas ~ these divine fluffballs are smaller than a domestic cat <3 Sadly they are endangered, and the sightings are not often. 
 
Sometimes referred to as "Civet Cats", these lil guys love dens and wooded areas in our infamous tall grass prairie, Flint Hills. Given where I source my clay from, I want to honor and bring light to our native species, especially the ones struggling.
 
I have always found them adorable, and would love to see them recover. Great efforts have been made to conserve our prairie, but we still have a long way to go. Now, due to declines in their habitat, they sometimes burrow in urban areas, so be cautious and be kind to them!
